FAQs

Where do you provide services?

  • Services are provided in a variety of settings to best meet your family's needs, including:

    • our boutique-style clinic, thoughtfully designed to put children and families at ease

    • your home, for added convenience and familiarity

    • daycares and private schools throughout Martin and St. Lucie counties

What payment methods do you accept?

  • We accept the Step Up Unique Abilities Scholarship and private pay via cash, check, credit or debit card, health savings accounts, and flexible spending accounts

Do you take insurance?

  • No. We are an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies and provide you with a super bill for possible reimbursement and/or application towards your out-of-network deductible.

  • We encourage clients to verify coverage details specific to their child’s diagnosis and treatment codes, as speech therapy is frequently not covered by many insurance plans. Even when it is, private pay rates are often comparable to or lower than insurance copays.

How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?

  • Schedule a complimentary phone consultation with us and we will take the time to discuss your concerns and make personalized recommendations.

How do I schedule?

  • Use the contact form on our website and someone from our team will be in touch

Do I need a referral?

  • A referral is not required; however, a physician's referral is always recommended to ensure an interdisciplinary approach

How many sessions does my child need each week?

  • The frequency of therapy is individual to each child's needs and will be recommended following the evaluation â€‹

How long does therapy take?

  • Each child progresses in therapy at their own rate, with consistent attendance and family involvement playing a key role in facilitating carryover of skills outside of sessions.

  • Your child's progress will be formally re-evaluated every 6 months and at that time we will recommend either continuing treatment or discharging from services. Additionally, if your child masters all of their goals before the 6 month review, they may be discharged earlier.
